November 25th from 5-8 pm Savanna will hold their Christmas Walk throughout the downtown with horse drawn wagon rides, a cookie walk, in-store specials, live music and more.


November 25th the Savanna Festival of Trees opens at the Museum & Cultural Center and runs through December 11th. Over 50 decorated trees are on display and hours are Mon thru Fri 4 to 7 and noon to 5 on Sat & Sunday.


November 26th is Shop Small Saturday and you can check-off your list with one-of-a-kind gifts from one-of-a-kind shops found throughout the Blackhawk Waterways region. There is nothing better than shopping in a relaxed & friendly atmosphere while keeping your tax dollars local!


November 26th Head to downtown Oregon for their Annual Candlelight Walk from 3pm – 8pm. Activities include Horse Drawn Wagon Rides, Santa & Mrs. Claus, holiday gift fair, children’s activities, refreshments, entertainment and more! Go to the website for all the details – candlelightwalk.org


November 26th, Lanark will celebrate Jingle Fest from 9 am to 1 pm at the Eastland Jr-Sr High School Bldg. There will be 40 crafters and vendors; pictures with Santa; kids’ crafts, a variety of food, baked goods and more. On Saturday evening, there will be a lighted tractor parade throughout town starting at 6:30. Follow the Celebrate Lanark FB page for details.


November 26th the 37th annual Prophetstown Lighted Christmas parade event starts at 3 pm and concludes with the parade starting at 6:30. This family friendly day includes Santa & Mrs. Claus at their home near Shaw’s Market, Reindeer Dash, horse & carriage rides, face painting, lighting of the Love Light Tree and more.
