Starting Thursday, June 8th, and running every Thursday night through August 3rd, the Dixon Municipal Band will perform at the Band Shell in Dixon’s Page Park.  Concerts are free and start at 7:30pm and be sure to bring chairs or blankets.

Friday, June 9th, starting at 6pm the Next Picture Show Gallery in Dixon will hold an opening reception for the Human Form Art Exhibition. This celebration of the art of the human form is an all-media exhibit of both 2 and 3D original work created and signed by the artists. The show runs through July 15th and is free and open to the public during gallery hours, Tuesday-Saturday 10 – 4. 


Saturday, June 10th Deitrick’s Alpaca Ranch on Lomax Rd in rural Prophetstown is holding an open house where you are invited to meet, greet, feed and learn all about their alpacas. The open house starts at 10 am and admission is $5.00. Follow Deitrick’s Alpaca Ranch on FB for more information. 


Saturday, June 10th, the 2nd Annual Bellson Music Fest is being held at the RB&W District Park located along the Rock River in Rock Falls. Music starts at noon and runs until 9:30. Check out the Bellson Music Fest FB page for all the details.


Saturday, June 10th the Rosbrook Studio Street Fair will take place in downtown Dixon. Hours are from 3 to 10pm. You are invited to enjoy arts & crafts by local and regional artists and fabulous music all afternoon and into the evening on the Rosbrook street stage! There will also be food vendors, 50/50 raffle, beverages, and Skateboard demonstration. Donations at the gates will help support the restoration & repair of their building.  Follow the event on FB for more details.
