On Tuesday the PLT 6-12 campus played host to the Tri-County Middle School Music Festival. The annually held event features a collection of the area’s most talented band and choir students in the Tri-County Conference. Prophetstown, Erie, Riverdale, River Bend, Rock Falls and Morrison were all included in the festival. Teachers nominate a number of students per ensemble for participation.

This year the PLT 6-12 Campus played host to the event, under the coordination of music teacher Katie Thurlby, which looked to get back on track after having been cancelled the last few years, and did a wonderful job.

The guest conductors and accompanist for the event were: Mark Kapusinski-Choir, Judie Colah-Choir Accompanist, Riley Carter-Band.
