After winning their first two games of the season, the Panthers have lost six in a row falling to Monmouth-Roseville for the second time this week, this time by a 16-1 score on Thursday. EP has been outscored 27-2 in their last two games after averaging 5 1/2 runs per game during their first six contests.

After a scoreless first inning the Titans plated six runs in the second and eight runs in the third to make it a 14-0 game after three innings.

EP finally got on the board in the top of the fourth stringing together three singles. M-R then ended the contest scoring twice in the bottom of the fourth to win by run rule.

Starting Panther pitcher Braedyn Frank threw 2 1/3 innings allowing 8 hits, 10 runs (8 earned), issued 3 walks and collected 3 strikeouts. Reliever Camden Collis pitched 1 1/3 innings giving up 6 hits, 6 earned runs, striking out 2 and walking 2.

Logan Copeland and Zane Romero each had 2 hits for the Panthers with Camden Collis picking up 1 hit and 1 RBI.

The Panthers stand 2-6 overall and will host Newman on Friday.
