Each day of the week staff and residents celebrated a different era – the Roaring 20’s, Dirty 30’s,1940’s  and the Boom’n 50’s, with staff dressing up in attire of the era. They made potato candy, had a petting zoo, played board games, had a staff cookout, made sock monkeys, played baseball, bowled, socialized, snacked, etc. and ended with a sock hop.

Check out Resthave’s Facebook page for some wonderful pictures and tons of smiles to show residents and staff alike having a BLAST! Community members were also encouraged to visit elders in nursing homes during this celebratory week.

Pictured batting and celebrating is John Almack, pushing him in the wheelchair is Resthave Nurse Laura Reed, and looking on is Resthave Activity Staff Kathy Becker.
