Prophetstown High School held its commencement ceremony on Mosher Field on Sunday, May 28th with 37 members of the Class of 2023 receiving their diplomas from school board members Chad Abell and Susan Miniel.
PHS Principal Janet Barnhart and Dean of Students /Athletic Director Derick Cox served as hosts for the event. District Superintendent-Heidi Lensing, Valedictorian -Alexis Miniel, and Salutatorian-Emma Megli delivered brief addresses.
Multiple honors and awards were announced to the audience during the ceremony, which had previously been awarded to the students. A few special awards were given during the graduation exercise.
