Susan Milnes Schuettler passed away in hospice care in Las Vegas, NV on May 18th, 2023.
She was born August 27th in Tacoma, WA. Sue graduated from Prophetstown High School in 1971 and Western Illinois University in 1975. She was employed as a sheriff’s deputy in Peoria County until 1990. She married Tom Schuettler in August 1985. A few years later they settled in Las Vegas.
Sue is survived by her sister Ann Deck of Prophetstown; a niece Jennifer (Deck) Collins, and Andrew Deck. Also, two step children Stephanie and Tommy Schuettler.
She was proceeded in death by her husband; parents; and one stepchild, Timmy.
A celebration of life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Lutheran Church in Prophetstown.
