Randel Eugene Nance, 67, of Silvis, IL, died September 24, 2020 at his home. There will be no services. Gibson-Bode Funeral Home, Port Byron, is assisting with arrangements.
Randel was born December 27, 1952 in Sterling, IL, the son of Raymond and Charlene (Andres) Nance. He graduated from Prophetstown High School in 1971. Randel worked at John Deere as a machinist. He loved being in the mountains of Arizona and enjoyed racing his drag car. His biggest accomplishments were his kids and grandkids.
Randel is survived by his beloved, Lynn; son, Aaron Nance, Davenport; daughters, Jess (Keith) Hill, Belleville, IL, Amie Nance, Coal Valley, Tasha (Devin) Johnston, Davenport; brothers, Thomas Nance, Prophetstown, Mark Nance, Prophetstown, Steven Nance, Dubuque, IA; grandchildren, Alissa Patz, Ethan Ford, Kaylee Hill, Kody Hill; bonus granddaughters, Lillian Beals, Allison Beals; best friends, Travis and Jeri Stanley, Thomson, IL; and Britta, his beloved dog. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Sharlene Johnson and Vicki Poulos. Share a memory or online condolence on the Tribute wall.
