The third year of Light Up The Park in Prophetstown brought more lights and imagination to the event as it continues to grow as an annual part of Prophetstown’s Christmas events.
The display was scheduled to be open this Friday but severe weather conditions prompted the cancellation of the final night.
Committee member Bruce Franks said, “We had over 450 vehicles drive through the display and over $2,400 was raised. Our goal is to make it bigger and better each year.” The donations collected will be distributed to local charities.
If you did not get a chance to get to the Prophetstown Sate Park to see the display please enjoy the video version made possible many local business who sponsored AroundPtown’s production.
