A dozen athletes loaded up a Panther mini-bus on Wednesday morning following pep rallies at both Erie and Prophetstown High Schools, to head to Eastern Illinois University and the IHSA State Track Finals.
The Panthers will compete in seven events in the preliminaries on Thursday with the top dozen or so moving onto the finals on Saturday. Preliminaries get underway at 11:00 on Thursday with finals starting at 10:00 on Saturday. You can see the meet on the NFHS Network.
