Funding New Beginnings Announces Spring Grant Recipients

Funding New Beginnings Community Foundation is pleased to announce two grant recipients: Prophetstown Area Community Vacation Bible School and Prophetstown/Erie Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Since formed in 2004, the Funding New Beginnings Community Foundation has been giving back to communities in and around the Prophetstown, Lyndon, Tampico area. Any nonprofit organization with a 501(c) (3) status under the IRS Tax Code, government organization, or education institution can apply for the grants. Applicants must have a local office, a local corporate Board of Directors, incorporated in the State of Illinois or chartered by the U.S. Government, and serve residents located in or around the Prophetstown, Lyndon, Tampico area.

The current Foundation Board of Directors are Garett Plumley (President), Megan Thompson (Vice President), Connie Johnson (Secretary), Janet Goodell, Michele Williams, Tom Green, and Whitney Mitchell-DeWitte, with Nick Emmerson serving as Executive Director.
