The EP Boys’ and Girls’ Track Teams celebrated their season with a meal and awards ceremony at the Erie High School Commons. Head Coaches Jonathon Schlagheck and Liz Green introduced each member of their squads and gave a quick season summary on each athlete.

Girls’ Awards:

Captains: Abby Eads, Madelynn Quinn, Jenna Saad
Most Outstanding Thrower: Madelynn Quinn Most Outstanding Vertical Jumper:  Jasmine Nickerson Most Outstanding Horizontal Jumper: Madyson Bushaw Most Outstanding Sprinter: Jenna Saad Most Outstanding Mid-Distance Runner: Riley Packer

Boys’ Awards:

Special recognition was given to senior Kyle Kruthoff for the first track athlete to win back-to-back state titles as he won the 1A pole vault and set a Class 1A state record with a vault of 16′ 8″.
