The school bus was occupied by 1 additional adult and 7 juveniles. No occupants claimed any type of injury from the crash but all of the passengers were examined by emergency personnel and released to their guardians.

34 year old Cody M. Emery was arrested after deputies were called to the area of Black Road and Henry Road, in rural Fenton, for a report of a disturbance with shots fired at an occupied vehicle.
Prophetstown Fire Chief, Gerald Armstrong said the fire originated in the basement and was probably electrical in nature. The fire managed to burn through the floor of the first floor before it was knocked down.
The department's preliminary investigation determined that Link's vehicle crossed the centerline colliding with Standard's vehicle. All occupants were transported to CGH Medical Center for their injuries. At CGH, Standard passed away due to her injuries.
