Stolen Vehicle Suspect Arrested In Prophetstown (photos)

The black pickup truck was stolen from the Rock Falls area in the early morning hours of Monday with authorities searching for the vehicle throughout the night.

Deputies Make Arrest In Prophetstown

Arrested in a vehicle was the passenger, Zachery M. Rangel (DOB 06/15/1985) of Prophetstown IL. Rangel was arrested on a Whiteside County warrant for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child, a Class X Felony.

Burglary Suspect Arrested

The officers were able to persuade the suspect, Craig H. Hartman, 35, to give himself up and he was arrested and placed into custody for a failure to appear warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine.
