Light Up The Park runs weekends through Christmas

The first night of Prophetstown’s Light up the Park took place Saturday, Nov. 25, with Jane and Bruce Franks welcoming visitors after the annual Lighted Christmas Parade. The event will run 6-8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays through Christmas. Donations benefit Prophetstown’s First Responders.

IMH Products showcased at Community Open House

IMH Products Contract Manufacturing hosted their first ever Community Open House on Saturday, Oct. 7 with guests invited to tour the facility and enjoy a free lunch and giveaways. Hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks were served up by employees, and a portion of Fifth Street was closed so kids could enjoy bounce houses and games.

Erie Homecoming Parade

The rain cleared out just in time for Erie School District’s Homecoming parade in the downtown Triangle on Friday afternoon, with only candy raining down on the crowds. The festive event preceded the Homecoming football game at Erie tonight, where the EP Panthers will take on the Newman Comets.

Prophetstown Homecoming Parade

Revelers filled downtown Prophetstown on Thursday night for the High School Homecoming Parade where “We Got the Beat” was the theme. Cheering spectators got in the school spirit as the parade went by with the Homecoming Court attendants, high school band, class floats, and athletes riding on firetrucks from Prophetstown, Tampico, Hooppole, and Erie.
