Prophetstown Approves Ward Redistricting

City Atty. Tim Zollinger asked the Council to consider redistricting the wards during the November meeting saying there was "too much of a gap" in the number of residents in each ward. "By state statute and the Constitution the city should have relatively equal population in each ward", Zollinger stated.

The drive through event will operate the next three weekends, Friday-Sunday from 5-8 p.m. There is no charge but donations are welcome and will be distributed among the first responder departments and additional volunteer groups.

The Prophetstown/Lyndon Food Pantry will be holding another special food distribution on Wednesday, December 1st from 4-6 PM at 215 Washington St. (Main Street) in Prophetstown.
