Revitalize Erie; A Look Back And An Exciting Future

One of the huge projects for the Village of Erie is the celebration of its 150th birthday. The centennial celebration was a huge multi-event affair in 1972 involving the whole community. There is a Sesquicentennial planning meeting Tuesday, January 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Village Hall.

Tampico Looking To Add Public Works Employee, Garbage Rate To Increase

Utilities Clerk, Jamie McIntire said customers have not seen a fee increase in the service since 2001. She added that there will be no further increases until the current contract with Republic Services out of Dixon expires in June of 2024. Residents will be notified via their utility bill when the increase will go into affect.
