"I look out the window and I watch that corn from when it's first planted until it's ready to be harvested. It really helps when I pray for the farmers and I can see the crop."

Volunteers from Prophetstown's First Lutheran Church spent their Saturday morning picking up trash along Hwy. 78 between Prophetstown and Lyndon.
They are collecting individual applesauce, pineapple, peaches or pear cups to donate to the annual program run by the United Way of Whiteside County.
The day will focus on "the true identity of each student and "I AM" who God says I am".
Andersen has also been impressed with the amount on drive-thru meals that are being picked up each week and plans on continuing that service until the ministry takes its summer break after the May 24th meal.
Tonight's meal entrée is barbecue sandwiches. Everyone is welcome!
The service will begin at 6:00 PM this Friday, April 2nd with a message delivered by Rev. Barbi E.E. Momolu of the Dominion Christian Fellowship Center Church in Lyndon.
