April 21st & 22nd the White Pines Playhouse will present Piano Man – the music of Elton John and Billy Joel. Mike Sigman will present a show that pays the ultimate tribute to these two mega superstars. This is a luncheon theater show and seating begins at 11:30am. Go to the website for tickets.


April 22nd thru the 24th and again the 29th & 30th the Polo Area Community Theatre will present Seussical the Musical, a show for the entire family that revisits beloved Dr. Seuss characters such as The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant and many more. All performances take place at the Polo Town Hall and begin at 7pm on Friday and Saturday and at 2 on Sunday. Go to the website for tickets, polotheatre.org


April 22nd and 23rd the Savanna Museum & Cultural Center will hold Creativity on the Move: a Showcase of Art, Craft, Talent and Skills. This family friendly exhibit will be open from 6 to 8pm on Friday and 10 to 4 on Saturday. The public is invited to come browse the wide variety of exhibits featuring original works by local artists. This event is free to the public but donations are greatly appreciated and will go to help support the continuation of programs and events at the Museum.


April 23rd & 24th the Northwestern Illinois Model Train Club in Chadwick will hold an open house at their location at 101 Main street from 10-4 both days. They will have trains running in the basement which has 3 levels covering the entire 30’ x 60’ basement room and there will also be a new layout upstairs.


April 24th the Chadwick Fire Department will hold their annual pancake breakfast from
7am-1pm at the Fire Station. Donations will be accepted at the door and all proceeds go to support the Ambulance and Fire Department.


April 24th the Polo Fire Department will hold their annual Spring Breakfast from 7am until noon at the fire station in Polo. All proceeds go toward the purchase of new equipment.
